1 Day Butchery Course

We offer a one day large game butchery day at our small butchery in Melksham Wiltshire.

This is ideal for those who perhaps have just completed their DSC1/PDS1 and are keen to make the most of the carcases that they are harvesting.

These are relaxed, enjoyable days led by our master butcher who will guide you through processing a deer carcass into the venison produce of your choice.

Starting with learning how to skin and then break a carcass down into primal cuts, you will then have the options of producing, steaks, chops, mince, dice, burgers and sausages under expert guidance.

We limit the number of attendees to six and supply the carcases, butchery equipment, PPE and teas and coffee (please bring your own lunch)

At the end of the day each person will take home the equivalent of half a deer. (Vac packed and labelled).
